Now, angel, let me introduce my dear friend Miss Bianca, a dazzling dame who draws inspiration from so many different eras it makes my head spin. Despite having never met each other in person, we struck up an acquaintance online a while ago and found we had a lot of common interests. When the name Josephine Baker popped up in one of our little confabs regarding a collaboration we were considering, we were both thrilled to bits and immediately resolved to pay tribute to the fabulous Black Venus, whom both of us hold so dear. Thus we gave it an earnest try ( 1 , 2 , 3 ), and loved every bit of it, I must say.
